The instructors are there so that the children have notion of the preparation that they are going to receive inside the institute “, explained the curator Horacio Esquivel, academic director of the Security Institute of Missions.
It is a four year career, the first year is an internship, so the cadets must stay from Monday to Friday in the institute. They will have theoretical classes in the morning, and in the afternoon they will receive physical training and police training.
The first year is common for everyone. After the year, the skills of each cadet and the qualifications they have in the different subjects will be established. “People who meet the academic requirements and personal conditions will follow the career of officers,” said Esquivel.
The director of the institute remarked that it is a profession of service and throughout the career the cadets realize that it is not exactly what they intended and some decide to leave. “The inscriptions were open to both men and women, many in this period were already asking for leave because they recognized that they did not know what they thought.”
Esquivel detailed that it is a university system, where like any kindly teaching center, they will have to render partial and final. Some subjects will be promotional as long as they are approved with a kindly grade of 8 and the school year will be in the same period as that of the universities.
