Last night the 2nd Book and Knowledge Fair ended. The event was held from Sunday, May 5 and until Sunday 12 with free admission, in Galpon 10 of kilometer 9, where in addition to book sales stands, there were gastronomic spaces for Cafés and since last Thursday it was also the Paraguayan artisans added their works.
With positive balance closed last night the 2nd Book and Knowledge Fair in Warehouse 10 of kilometer 9 of the city of Eldorado, where some 25 thousand people passed in the eight days of completion.
In the place, from Sunday May 5 to Sunday 12, there were sale of books, presentations of the authors, artisan and audiovisual workshops, activities of the Museum of Prehistory and activities for the little ones.
The event was held throughout the week with free admission, in the hours of eight to 21 hours during the eight days, with a break of 12 to 15 hours.
The Board of Historical Studies of the city was present with its stand and its publications that tell about the beginnings of the Capital of Work, there was also the stand of missionary writers, there were editorial stands, and bookstores that have their premises in Eldorado, among others.
Several cafes in the city, chiperías and others, also participated offering a delicious proposal to the public that accompanied the Fair from the first day.
Within the framework of the Centennial of our City and of the 208 years of the Declaration of Independence of the Republic of Paraguay.
In the framework of the fair, from Thursday 9 to Sunday 12, also the mayor Norberto Aguirre with his cabinet received Roberto Luis González Waesken, governor of the Alto Paraná department of the Republic of Paraguay and the consul of Paraguay Magno Antonio Álvarez Alarcón.
During the Book Fair, “The Paraguayan Night” was held, Che retä Paraguay pageant artistic first level with the presence of distinguished artists from the Republic of Paraguay: Profile Group, Ballet Group of the Governor of Alto Paraná, the presence of the Paraguayan jewels and Víctor López, requintista.
And at the start of the fair, on Sunday 5, it is worth remembering that the exhibitors of the Fair of native peoples were also present.
Taking into account all the activities carried out and the exhibitions, the organization highlighted the participation of the people, the visit of several schools in the city and even tertiary institutes that came to the place with their respective groups of students.
