The candidate for president of the Libertarian party is shown as an alternative to Cristina and Macri and said it is not healthy to think that the president is the solution to the problems left by the macrismo “when we know that his government also failed.”

The economist and presidential candidate José Luis Espert spoke with Radio Libertad and Misiones On-line, and analyzed the country’s economic and political situation. He assures that the problems that Argentina has are not now and considers that there were three historical devourers in the country: a group of politicians, a group of businessmen and trade unionists. He proposes to stop having such a closed economy. On the economic level, he does not believe there are chances of hyperinflation or a crisis like in 2001, as some predict. He questioned the government of Macri and Cristina and affirmed that it was Macrismo that gave Cristina electoral chances, but she does not believe that it is the solution to this Government. He announced that he will come to Misiones on May 24 to present his book “The Accomplished Society.”
He explained that the book presented at the lodge Julio César, on May 24 next “is the other side”, in relation to his first book in which he told who were the devourers of Argentina. “The Accomplice Society”, as it speaks of the devoured, what responsibility they have. “There is one thing that does not admit discussion, to whom we are going to blame for so much decadence, when decades go by that Argentina does not stop going back,” he said.
He added that the book tells what myths Argentina should get out of its head to prosper. “They are those myths that make society an accomplice, for example that a country that has everything to sell to the world, has been flirting with import substitution for a century. Another myth is that of the present State, we have reached the point where the private sector is a slave of the State, for the amount of taxes it has to pay, in union matters the myth of social justice has transformed the unionists into true feudal lords and people collecting miseries in their pockets, “he enumerated.
The economist said that the problem is the state we have, “the wild tax pressure that ruins those who really give jobs.”
Regarding the economic situation, he indicated that last year, the crisis was the fault of excess public spending and said that “the most important thing is to understand that Argentina is not viable, if it does not sell things to the world”. He also criticized the export taxes that are charged in Argentina. “Nobody in the world taxes exports,” he said.
Asked about how the country can solve the financial crisis, he insisted on the need to open markets to the world. “In the long run, trade with the world begins to diversify its exports and commercializes more and more with added value,” he said.
On the debt the country has with the International Monetary Fund, he declared that “Argentina should have no hesitation in putting all the effort into paying it, avoiding default and rescheduling the debt,” he said.
Regarding social plans, he maintained that “it is a subsidy to the growth of poverty” and believes that they should be inverses to the number of children that the family has and that whoever receives a conception must work and receive training, “form it so that conception begins to disappear and the person perceives that he has some future, “he said.
In relation to Macri’s economic conception, he stated: “Macri’s beliefs and Macri’s policy design inevitably ended in a currency crisis like last year’s.”
On the economic outlook true, said: “I think there is little probability of hyperinflation or a 2001, I do not see it,” he said.
Finally, he considered that, at the political level, “the macrismo came back on the head, they put fear with Cristina the four years of government and over the arrogance and incapability put the country in a crisis, and now Cristina has electoral chances”, He maintained at the same time that he observed that, anyway, it is not healthy to think that Cristina is Macri’s alternative when we know that Cristina’s government also failed.
